Occasional Recipes Tried and True

My mother grew up in France and spoiled me for most American cooking.
This page will offer recipes from time to time that delight and are healthy.

Tasty (Mild) Curried Tilapia

  • Jar 'Patak's Curry Paste'
  • 2 Tablespoons butter or Margarine
  • 3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 5 Tilapia fillets
Put oil and margarine in non-stick fry pan to melt and mix.
Add two teaspoons of Curry Paste and mix.
Fry fillets in sauce replenishing if necessary as needed.
(You may want to cut fillets in half lengthwise for easier handling)
When finished, you may want to mix the oil, margarine, and paste again for sauce.
Serve with hot rice cooked with one bouillon cube per cup and fresh crisp green beans.
